Tale Behind the Toys

Welcome to the Inclusive Innovators non-profit organization!
 
Our goal is to enable inclusivity and accessibility for children with disabilities.  We take on the challenge of transforming toys with technology to make playtime priceless and accessible to all kids.

Today, toys are not designed for children with special needs.

For instance, most children can squeeze a stuffed animal to enjoy an interaction with lights and sound. However, some children with disabilities may not have the strength or the ability to perform the same action.


We are devoted to:

  • Reimagining toys using technology, designed for children with special needs

  • Implementing Disability Awareness curriculum in Middle and High School core classes 

 
Our toys aren't just toys, they are a form of adaptive technology. These adaptive toys aid the psychological development of young minds by teaching them cause-and-effect, allowing them to better interact with their environment.

 
At this organization, you will:

  • Learn to re-design electronic components to adapt toys

  • Ensure these adaptations are usable, accessible, and affordable

  • Educate students and adults on Disability Awareness
